Medina Vision and Laser Centre co-manages all LASIK procedures with a select team of doctors. All of our LASIK surgeries are performed by Dr. Shamik Bafna, MD, a Board Certified Ophthalmologist and Corneal Specialist, Dr. William Wiley, MD, a Board Certified Ophthalmologist or Dr. Todd L. Beyer, DO, a Board Certified Ophthalmologist.

LASIK surgery is the procedure used to remove a layer of tissue from the cornea in order to correct refractive errors of the eye. LASIK allows us to quickly and efficiently treat vision impairments, including near and farsightedness, permanently. In many cases we enable our patients to see without the use of glasses or contact lenses. The recovery time following surgery is rather short, and most patients are able to return to their normal routine the following day. LASIK patients are typically feeling fully recovered in a period of only one to two weeks.
