The custom LASIK surgery used by patients of Medina Vision and Laser is CustomVUE™. CustomVUE™, performed by Dr. Shamik Bafna, Dr. William Wiley or Dr. Todd L. Beyer, is a LASIK procedure that is completely customized per individual. Using WaveScan® digital technology, imperfections in the eye are identified and measured 25 times more precisely than standard measures. The information gathered by the scan is transferred directly to the laser being used for the surgery. This enables a new, higher level of precision and accuracy to be achieved during surgery.
In many cases patients who undergo custom laser surgery end up with vision better than 20/20 and night vision is often significantly improved.
