Q. Will my eyes get dilated?
A. It depends on your ocular history and whether or not you opt for a retinal scan. Some patients with diagnosed eye diseases must be dilated.
Q. What is glaucoma?
A. Glaucoma is a disease that slowly damages the optic nerve when fluid and pressure build up in the eye. The disease has no symptoms, and can only be diagnosed by an eye care physician.
Q. What is Dry-Eye?
A. Dry Eye occurs when there is a breakdown of the tear film on the surface of the eye, causing it to feel dry, hot, sandy, and gritty. Dry eye may be caused, or made worse, by low humidity, smoke, aging, certain diseases, and certain medications.
